Blue Bermondsey Children’s Story Walks

Blue Bermondsey Children's story Walks

Blue Bermondsey BID and London Dreamtime had a good idea to engage children and families during the pandemic, by creating a series of unique audio storytelling experiences, and at the same time support the arts.

We approached the Arts Council England who kindly agreed to sponsor a series of four audio walks that will be rolled out over the coming months.

The stories encourage children to re imagine the world around them here in the Blue with amazing characters told by professional storytellers from different ethnic backgrounds.

In addition to the audio track, each story is accompanied by an activity sheet for kids to use along or at the end of each trail.

Scroll down to find our stories and remember to come back to this page as we will be publishing more stories in the coming months.

What is needed?

  • A mobile phone or table to download and listen.
  • Mobile internet if you want to listen directly from the website.

Tip: Get together with other parents to create your own storytelling family outing or play indoors and fuel your children’s imagination.
