New Discretionary Grants Fund -now open for applications

Southwark Council’s new Discretionary Grants Fund is now open for applications from businesses in Southwark.

Grants are available for small and micro businesses (49 or fewer full-time employees) that have suffered a significant fall in income due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but did not qualify for the Small Business or Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Grant Funds, or were unsuccessful in applying for the Southwark Business Hardship Fund in April.

£3.4m has been provided by the Government for Southwark Council to distribute. Grants will be allocated to those eligible on a first come first serve basis. As demand is expected to outstrip the funds available, early applications are advised.
