coronavirus update

Latest Update for Southwark Businesses Affected by COVID-19.

New grants for small businesses affected by the second lockdown

Grants are now available for small businesses in Southwark that have been legally required to close from 5th November 2020, and those that may not be required to close but have been severely impacted by the restrictions put in place to control the spread of COVID-19.

The application process is intended to be light touch, but please check the requirements carefully as missing information may mean a grant cannot be awarded or payment will be delayed.

The first round of applications for grants covering this closure period will be open until 8th December 2020.

Different processes will apply for businesses that pay business rates directly to the council and those that do not.
