Employability Programme Here for work

BLW Free employability support and training starts again in November 2020

Blue Bermondsey BID is committed to initiatives that boost the chances of local people gaining meaningful employment. In December 2019 we worked in partnership with Big Local Works to develope and fund a pilot employabilty training course.

We are pleased that our combine efforts have led to a new round of Free employability support and training, which starts on 11th of November 2020.

Big Local Works Employability Training Programme will support local residents to develop key employability skills. The training course produces sustainable change in people’s lives, up-skilling residents to apply and obtain sustainable and well paid local jobs.

The Here for Work employment programme delivered in partnership with The Bridge at Waterloo, provides practical advice, connects you with job opportunities and provides mentors that will stick with you, by your side, helping you to thrive on the journey ahead.

The programme is FREE and open to anyone aged 16+ who needs support in their search for employment.
