Blue Anchor Library Weekly Activities
The Blue Bermondsey has its own local public library and you won’t be short of activities and groups to join in. There are weekly and monthly events for everyone and all ages. Best part, it’s all free!
Children: weekly and monthly activities
- Bookstart session – every Monday during term time, 10.15am to 11.45am (ages 0 to 5)
- Knitting and Crotchet Club – every Monday, 5pm to 6pm (adults and children over 5 years old)
- Chatterbooks – first Tuesday of every month, 4pm to 5pm (ages 5 to 12)
- Chess Club – every Tuesday apart from the first Tuesday of each month, 4pm to 5.30pm (over 5 years old)
- Baby and Toddler Session – every Thursday, 10.30am to 11.30am (ages 0 to 5)
- Baby Rhyme Time – every Friday, 10.30am to 11.30am (ages 0 to 5)
- Family Stories – every Saturday, 10.30am to 11.30am
Adults: weekly and monthly activities
- Knitting and Crotchet Club – every Monday, 5pm to 6.30pm (adults and children over 5 years old)
- First Tuesday Club for adults – a regular programme of talks and events, first Tuesday of the month, 10.30am to 12 noon
- Book group – first Tuesday of every month, 7pm to 8.30pm (contact Christina Ojo for more information)
