Grosvenor’s Bermondsey Summer Fete 2018 returns to the Biscuit Factory for its fourth edition of this popular event in the calendar of Bermondsey community days out.
All proceeds from activities at this event (priced at 50p or £1) will contribute to Bede House’s fundraising efforts to raise money for the New Bede Centre, which will provide youth club rooms, a community café (run by trainees from Bede’s Learning Disabilities project), art and activity space for disabled visitors, a music studio and a bike repair workshop.
What to do?
The Summer Fete is a fun day in which there will be family activities, live music, local food and drinks stalls, plus get to know the fantastic work of many local charities present on the day.

Food and drink
There will be stalls from local businesses including Bermondsey butcher and delicatessen Bells & Sons, tea, coffee and cake from Big Local Works, drinks from Shortwave Café and Partizan Brewery, and a vegan BBQ from Southwark based pop-up The Gnarbecue.
Taking to the stage will be an eclectic line-up of locally based artists and performers including the Carragher Academy for Irish Dancers, 6-piece band Decks and Quartz, live theatre performance by The Bard Buskers, Peckham-based acoustic duo Dervla & Nils and singer-songwriter Sonya Titus.
